The Birth of An Idea XXXIII is considered by the artist to be the most complex piece of the entire series to date. Containing many applications of different colors, the piece was created with bright glossy orange in the middle, then copper, then blue, a tint on the back of the cocoons, all with orange on the tips. The photos below show the detail of the 11 different patterns on the cocoons, conveying the extraordinarily strong vibrancy of this piece.
The artwork is available.
